The pandemic and lockdowns have prevented me from going out to meet people and take photographs for the longest time, so it was very nice to return to Finland for the summer and head off to the stables for some equine photography.
Me and my friend decorated her beautiful warmblood mare with flowers we found around the stables and took some midsummer portraits inside the stables and around the garden. This mare is very kind and level-headed, so she didn’t mind much of us moving around different flash and camera equipment around her while looking for the best combinations for my vision.
The pictures turned out very lovely and I managed to convey that light, warm, summer feeling very well.
